JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Jacksonville, FL
LOA: 3-4 months with the possibility of it going perm
Job Title: Superintendent

Excels in meeting project deadlines, maintaining a clean jobsite, motivating
subcontractors, and ensuring effective communication with all project
stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily activity on assigned job site(s).
Coordinate, monitor, and inspect all Subcontractors and Suppliers activity.
Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Work closely with Project Management from pre-construction through closeout to
successfully manage project schedule and budget.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all construction project documents.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies.
Complete and upload jobsite log, progress photos, and activity reports to
construction management software.
Ensure all subcontractors on site are working from current and complete
documents.
Attend and Lead weekly jobsite meetings and toolbox talks.
Enforce safety regulations at all times.
Manage building inspections.
Issue and oversee successful completion of punch list items.
Exercise absolute caution and professionalism while on job-sites at all time.
Seek out opportunities, training or otherwise, to enhance work performance.

Experience
5+ years experience in Commercial Construction
Ground-up construction: 10 years (Preferred)
Hospitality construction: 3 years (Preferred)

Schedule and Work Hours
Standard work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Due to the nature of the construction industry and project demands, extended hours and
occasional weekend work may be required. Candidates must be able to maintain
flexibility in their schedule to meet deadlines and support project needs.

Requirements
Experience on Ground-Up Builds, especially Hospitality.
Proficient in construction management software with the ability to quickly learn
and adapt to new technologies.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, project documents and
specifications.
CPR and OSHA 30 certification (available to complete upon hire).
Driver’s License with clean driving record.
